This blog exists to answer the questions people actually type when they are trying to hire someone or get paid for placing someone. Most of those answers are on the internet already, scattered across vendor pages, forum threads and advice that was written to sell something. We want ours to be the answer you can check.
Who writes it
Every post is signed by the founder who wrote it, me or Nhat. Nhat runs the company side of Chosen and reads every recruiter application, and he checks every fact about the product in my posts before they go out. Nobody outside the two of us edits, and nobody outside the two of us decides what gets published.
What follows is how we write posts from October 2026 on.
Where the facts come from
Facts about Chosen come from the product itself, the published terms and the help center. They never come from a plan, a deck or a pitch. If a term is not published, the post says so, in those words, and tells you to ask a founder rather than guessing a number to fill the gap.
Outside numbers, like what an agency charges or what a tool costs, come from the vendor's own page or a dated third party, fetched the day we cite them. Every post lists its sources with the date we read them. If a source stops saying what we cited, the number comes out of the post rather than moving to a weaker source.
Contrarian on purpose, with receipts
A lot of professional consensus in hiring is repeated because it is comfortable, not because anyone checked it. When I disagree with it I say so, and I show the math. When the consensus is right I say that too, in one sentence, and move on. You will not find a take here that rests on a vibe.
What we will not do
- No post is written to sell. Chosen appears where it fits the question, the post says when it does not, and the same post tells you what Chosen cannot do.
- No sponsored posts, no affiliate links, no vendor placements.
- No anonymous quotes. If someone is quoted, they are named and they said it.
- No number without a source you can open.
- No word we would not say out loud to a customer.
How often posts are re-checked
Every post is re-read every six months. Competitor prices are re-checked every quarter. Each post shows the date it was last updated. Anything about Chosen that is not yet published, like the guarantee period, is marked as not published until it is.
Reporting an error
Email ben@chosenhq.com with the post and the sentence. You will hear back within two business days. Corrections are made in the post and noted at the bottom with the date. If you were right about something big, you will get a thank-you and the change; we do not quietly edit.
Corrections log
None yet. That will change, and the changes will be listed here.
